They put in the drain pipes to run the downspouts away from the patio

And a plastic conduit under the foundation for running electrical out to the outside.

5/11 - They start! - We come home to a large area all dug out and a bunch of gravel!



5/12 - The gravel is flattened out!

All wrapped up!

Here's a number of photos that wrap it all up - We've got more to do (cleanup and decorating wise), but the place is basically back together at this point.. We spent last weekend enjoying.

Countertops!

The countertops are in!

It took a bit longer than expected due to some unlevel cabinets - (mostly those that were there before) so we'll be finishing up tomorrow - hooking up the sink, and touching up what the backsplash didn't cover..

Will try to update tomorrow - now off to moving furniture!

My apologies for the delay in Blogging - we were visiting all our friends down in Disney World - Here we are with Belle and the Beast - watch out Jen - he's gonna get you!

While we were gone - They pretty much finished up - At this point - everything is done except for the countertops..

In the bathroom - you can see the shower door installed..

Wood flooring throughout the family room space is all done - they barely made it - only a few pieces left when they were done!

Above - you can see I'm starting to get materials into the space too - the TV mount and shelving mounts (the shelves will eventually be black)

Tomorrow, the countertops go in - and after that - they're done! - then we just need to get the shelving in and move our furnature back - the inspection is also Monday.

Wait, something's missing...
Ooh - there it is!
The toilet was moved, and our new vanity installed in the bathroom! Aside from lack of light and shower door - it's a functional space now!

Note the baseboard trim going in - gives it a sharp look!

Other work done today include installing the linen closet door, the new outdoor water spicket, and bringing all of the wood flooring inside to acclimate to the house!

Oh - and the countertop folks came to measure today - Jen was here and made all the critical decisions on this one - we're going to have a bullnose edge on the counters.

Lots o stuff

Cabinets! The new upper cabinets went up today - open shelving in the middle and the end, along with two new upper cabinets.

Bathroom floor is done! Grout and all - and look - we have a door!
They pulled out the flooring in the old family room area in preparation for next week.
And last but not least - he layed some dirt and sod under the corner of the fence - now the puppies won't run under it! Guess I've got to water that corner now...
